From Caring for Others to Coastal Dreams

After many fulfilling years as a Physician Assistant,  I found myself yearning for a different kind of healing—one that comes from the gentle rhythm of tides and the whispered secrets of marsh grasses swaying in coastal breezes.

In 2020, my husband and I took a leap of faith and moved to the enchanting Outer Banks, where we discovered our slice of paradise nestled along the marsh. Here, with ever-changing tides as our daily companion, we've found a slower, more intentional way of living that feeds our souls.

Our days are painted with the colors of sunrise over water, punctuated by the graceful dance of herons and egrets who visit our backyard sanctuary. We've learned to read the moods of approaching storms, finding beauty in their dramatic arrival across the vast coastal sky. Our hearts are full watching our children and grandchildren discover the magic of this place—building sandcastles, searching for treasures, and creating memories that will last lifetimes.

Some of our most cherished moments happen aboard our boat, heading to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout, where wild horses roam free and pristine beaches offer up their treasures. Each shell we collect, each piece of sea glass we discover, tells a story of the ocean's endless creativity.

This profound connection to coastal living inspired me to curate a collection of items that celebrate the beauty of waterside life. Every piece in our store has been thoughtfully chosen to help others who share our dream of embracing a gentler pace—one filled with salty air, golden sunsets, and the simple joy of family gathered around, sharing stories as the tide rolls in.
